Pre-Columbian ceramics in Mexico cannot be ignored as a strong influence in Tomas’ work. He is most attracted to figurative pieces and the decorative possibilities of bowls.  His studio is in Xalapa, Mexico. “My journey thru the world of ceramics has always been defined by the technical demands of materials and a need for balance between graceful form, texture, and colors.
