Solange Del Nero was born in Sao Paolo, Brazil in 1957 and received her degree in Fine Arts from the University of Sao Paulo and her postgraduate studies in Spain. On her return to Brazil she taught art in a psychiatric facility as part of its therapy program. This experience impacted her life and influenced her art. She developed an appreciation for the language and power of art and its relation to human beings. Solange later worked for the prestigious MAM: Museo de Arte Moderno in Sao Paulo, in both the Education and Prints Departments.  In the mid 90’s she moved to Guadalajara, Mexico where she concentrated on her own Fine Art painting & sculpture. Her abstract works are strong in character, color, and brushstroke and evoke the impact of her extensive & varied arts background. Solange’s work is collected around the world and exhibited in many galleries and several museums.
