Misty has long been a painter. During the Pandemic Misty passed the time in isolation creating mosaic pieces, beginning with her “sugar skull” series. Using materials and costume jewelry to create these “blinged-out” pieces, each having a specific theme. She has moved on to creating mosaics on animal skulls which she says allows the animal to live on as a work of art. Misty’s motto is “less is NOT more, more is MORE!”
