Laurie and Dan Hennig were married in 1968 while attending University in California. As ceramic artists, they took part in the great resurgence of the arts emerging from the dynamic cultural activism of the 1960’s and they have had a thriving studio since and a winter studio in La Ribera. Using local clay and found objects & recyclable materials, they are creating humorous and whimsical art that combines their ceramics with post-industrial debris.
