CHARLES CARTER
While in University Charles did an exchange program with La Universidad de La Salle in Mexico City, where his strong connection with Mexico began, the art and love of color would be a lifelong influence in his work. Early in his career Charles concentrated on plein-air and impressionist style landscape painting but as time went on. His work became more abstract and expressionistic, using bold colors and geometry to create his colorful and graphic pieces.
